what was your GPA before going into school. And if you had a high GPA how many classes did you take a semester if your GPA was low how many classes did you take per semester. In your class is it more likely people drop out do to age young vs older students, or is illness pregnancies or other outside issues occur such as family issues

iluvpatho...i also have a 3.7 now, thats just my pre-reqs and science co-reqs....i will be part time with 7 credit hours in the fall for the 1st semester of the RN program...semester 2 will be 9 credit and 3&4 will be 10.....i hope to keep my average up!

I'm sure you can! I thought it would be so much harder because my program is a bit like that but it actually is not very much harder. To be honest I've done fairly well in school but my GPA is not so important to me anymore. I just wanna graduate with BSN and learna s much as I can.

I went from HS to nursing school and my school requires no pre-reqs. I did my co-reqs with my nursing courses. my HS GPA was a 3.75 (I did take some college courses in HS-21 credits and a 4.0) I graduated my associate's with a solid 3.4. after my GPA was a 3.06 my first semester, I'm very proud I brought it up to a 3.4 and graduated cum laude.

I had a 3.74 before entering my program with only one C in a class I did not give nearly enough effort to. After a year in my program I have fallen to about a 3.5 but I was working full-time my first semester so that really hurt me. I think I can bring it back up my last year to graduate with honors from my program. We only lost one student in my program and that was due to her choice to relocate to be with her military husband. We started out with 40 so I think that's a pretty good stat.

I have 8.6 million credit hours so I'm honestly not sure what my overall gpa is anymore. Last time I checked it was around a 3.4. My Prereq GPA was a 3.7.

I have no idea if it'll rise or drop in NS but I'm going in guns blazing, so here's hoping!

As far as dropping out, my school admits 40 students once a year, and the program has lost about 1 person every year. 50/50 whether they just moved or changed majors or actually failed out.
