Drexel ACE Program (Fall 2021)

Hey. don't worried about your retakes. To tell you the truth, I was very concern when submitting my application because  my bachelor GPA was not that good. I end up with a 2.9 because I failed 2 courses Biochemistry and Inorganic Chem  ?   and then I retook them at a County College. But I think here are the reasons why I got accepted. All my science course (like the pre-req courses are taken at a county college ( GPA was a 3.6). Maybe Drexel average out my GPA from the two schools and it meet the minium of what Drexel looking for. I did volunteered which was like total of only 250 hours with a NP, Chiropractor, and in the hospital.

I submitted my application for 2021 Fall, and waiting for the decision. I heard they are very fast to send out their acceptance. I am very nervous. I got my BA in 2011 and have about 10 years of gap year. ? 

I finished all of the science pre-reqs done all with A's and one B for English.  

Is there any mom who applied for the program? (I am a mom of two 8 and 5). I am very worried since I heard Drexel ACE is very rigorous and intense program.  

hi all! after you submit your application, how soon do you need to send official transcripts? im still waiting for grades to post for one of my Summer classes so im holding off on submitting my app...

Hey, im not sure if I read it correctly but on the Drexel ACE website, it say "Transcripts are not evaluated until you are admitted into the program." and also I think you can just upload your unofficial transcripts first. After you get accepted, the committee will then reviewed your transcripts.

hey thanks so much for your reply! so I actually JUST submitted my application, and once you submit it you're led to an application portal that shows you an application checklist. you do upload transcripts but yes they can be unofficial!

oh no, just realized I can't apply bc im currently taking physio and my app won't be complete by the priority deadline (unless there's still space by when my class is done) ? good luck to everyone tho!

It usually takes a while for Drexel to fill its incoming class, up until one or two months before the start, so it'd still be worth applying once your class is done!!

OMG really?! the admissions counselor did mention rolling admissions after the priority deadline but she made it sound like it would fill up and I would be notified and to apply for Spring 2022 (which is not a problem). so that's good to know! I'll def submit the app ? thank you so much!

I got in for this Fall in May/June and new people were still getting accepted in July for a September start. Obviously every cycle will be different depending on how many people are admitted/accept, but it's definitely worth applying once you're ready! Good luck!!

I just sent in my resume, no cover letter!

I just graduated from this program in September. Lmk if anyone has any more questions!
