Do you use the Nurse ProPack

i recently purchased the nurse pro pack which is the apron type organizer. it sounds and looks great instead of fumbling around in your pockets. i was wondering if anyone has used or is using this item and what you think of it.

I love the idea but they're not very comfy for overweight bodies.

I'm not sure how practical it is--obviously because I'm not a nurse!--but it sure looks handy!!

It's great because you have a pocket for each item, rather than fishing around in your uniform pockets trying to find something by feel.

Whaaaat? You mean there is another way to find something besides fumbling around in your pockets, identifying things by feel?:lol2:

Seriously, the main drawback that I would see is the possibility of it becominga fomite very quickly, unless you had several of them that you could launder, as you do your scrubs.

I have something like this except I got the one that just goes into your pocket instead of around your waist. The around the waist thing messed with me. I couldn't imagine trying to fumble with it when I have to use the bathroom so that's why I have the one that goes in your pocket. I really like it a lot.

I am a nursing student and I love mine. Some of my friends make fun of me. But I do not care because I am so organized. As a student I have too much stress. I do not need the stress of trying to find things when trying to help a patient.

I use those ugly little fanny packs,however as far as being a fomite I work in a large campuslike setting. I dont work with a lot of physically ill Pts.They work great for me!!! I do have a few of them also.I wouldnt go to work without them.especially where I work everything is locked Id hate to lose my keys.!!It keeps me organized.
