11 Days and finally!!!

I PASSED. I got the letter in the mail today. The license will be issued once my results from the Criminal Background Check come back. I am so relieved! I jumped up and down in my apartment and couldn't stop after I read the letter. I was expecting the worst and had to re-read to make sure it said PASSED and that I wasn't hallucinating!

Thank you!!! Lippincott helped me out a great deal, but I also used Saunders and the NCLEX 3000 CD Rom. Make sure you focus on prioritization and delegation in studying. Endocrine review was helpful for me, as well. Man, I am still in shock! I'll send good luck vibes your way. Hopefully your results will get to you faster than mine got to me. I wish you all the best and look forward to hearing when you get your results.

P.S. I am in Greenville. How do you like Durham?

Thank you for the tips. I am using the Kaplan QBANK which is thousands of questions with explainations.. I also have a Kaplan book... During the beginning of the week I will be in the Kaplan classroom course.. I just hope and pray that this time is it for me!!

I really do like Durham!! They have tons of shopping which is a bonus!! I will be down in Charlotte all next week and will take my test in Charlotte.... I cant wait to get my results!!

Congratulations again!! How are you celebrating??? YOu better have a cocktail in atleat one hand!! JK!!

This was in NC. I was applying from MA, which is where i took my boards. I guess the hold up was that they didn't have the results from my background check yet, but it took 11 days for them to send me a letter saying I passed my test and about another week before they issued the license. :rolleyes:

Thank you to everyone for the congrats and support. It's really exciting, but now that I have started my job it is somewhat terrifying knowing how much there is to learn and how much I just don't know yet! :p

Good luck to you Zar. I know what it's like to wait and I think that was the worst part out of the whole experience. I started to really doubt myself and no one wanted to be around me because I was so "bleh." Hang in there and keep us all updated when you find out your results. :)
