CSULB Spring 2017

Do we need to send in our transcripts by September 21? Like our official grade transcripts from schools.

Official transcripts, official TEAS transcript, (if taken elsewhere and not at csulb), and the nursing application or any other documents that need to be turn in along with the nursing application need to be turn in in-person or mail in before the Sept 10 deadline. Hope this helps. :)

Hey how about everyone post their stats. Curious where everyone else stands in comparison to myself. Here's mine:

Overall score: 9.68

Science GPA: 4.0

GE GPA: 3.77

Teas overall: 90%

Teas Reading: 100%

Turned in my app Wednesday. Received confirmation email today from Monalisa that my app was received. Hope I get in.

Overall score: 9.29

Science GPA: 4.0

GE GPA: 3.69

Teas overall: 84%

Teas Reading: 88.1%

My TEAS is so bad

GE GPA: 4.0

Science GPA: 3.7

Teas overall: 86.7

Teas reading: 88.1

score: 9.21

(I know the score is a bit off but I emailed Monalisa and she told me that was my score)

@panic36 it's not healthy to think that way. Think positive and be optimist. You don't know until you receive a letter from the school. My teas score is horrible too but I'm still having hope. :)

@panic36 be positive! Spring is always easier and since they changed math to reading the scores can be lower than usual? I'm trying to be positive even if my score isn't the greatest

I appreciate the positivity, and I haven't given up complete hope. I think it's that I froze, and I was so nervous I struggled. My stats are

Science GPA: 4.0

GE GPA: 4.0

Teas overall: 83%

Teas Reading: 73%

I only finished 75% of the reading test before it closed. I realized I had 5 minutes left of reading when I was about half way through. I will keep faith, but at the same time I can't have high expectations.

@panic36 that happened to me the first time I took the test, if I remember correctly you said the last testing date was your only time taking it? Your GPA is perfect (literally) if anything retake the test earlier next time so you have at least 2 tries, since your GPA is amazing you just have to score a little higher. Look at my score, and it's still not as high bc I got one B in the sciences. If I had ur GPA I wouldn't be having such a hard time. BUT im wishing you the best hoping you get in this time around!

I applied but I am the worst at being timed I can't finish on time so I received a

74% on the teas

3.8 science gpa

3.8 General gpa

overall score 8.4:((

so Im pretty positive I'm not going to get in:/ but applied anyway so good luck to all of you:)

This may be a stupid question, but how do you know what your overall score is?

Do you calculate it yourself or does Monalisa inform you of your score?
