CSN Spring 2015

Has anyone gotten a call yet? It's killing me waiting. I have 38 points and I think I should get in. Will someone let me know when they start calling. Thank you.

Usually they call people in the end of October.

I still have a few pre-reqs to do and won't be applying until Sept 1 2015 for the Spring 2016, but reading this has helped a lot. I'll probably have to go back to the workshop since I did it last year so it'll be 3 years since I went. After this semester I'll only have 223 as a pre-req left to do in the spring of '15. Good luck to all of you! The wait must be horrible!

Thanks for easing my mind a bit. i wish my GPA was higher so Id have more points and not have to worry so much.

I went to an appointment and -------------------------- tt said that we will get calls last wk of OCT, wish it was sooner just to get it over with, she said 30 points for spring 15, so you should be good as long as everything is in your application, I think you can still make an appointment with her, you wont be able to add anything , but you can review your app with her, I did just so I would have peace of mind!

I made an appointment for tomorrow to go over my application just to ease my mind also. I should be fine as far as points go but right now I'm freaking out about a mistake on my application more lol. Atleast if I go then I will know now rather than wondering later. Thanks everyone!

So I went to my appt today and the lady was not very optimistic that 30 points would be the cut off. She said there's alot of ppl reapplying who finally got math 120 for the extra 10 points. She said that the points will probably go up in contrast to last semesters applicants but she does not know how much. So at this point we are all in the dark. I'm thinking the points cut off is going to be 34...why I don't know but I got a feeling it's going to be. I'm just frustrated because my BIOL 224 did not transfer until the 5th of Sept so for that reason it is not being counted....so I only sit at 30 points I wish best of luck for everyone!

I have my appt tuesday. That's really upsetting because I'm only at 31 points. I'm taking BIOL 251 now so ill have 36 at the end of this semester.

if she says anything different to you please let me know. she said she didn't want to sound discouraging but she did I'm just more mad at transfer credit for screwing me over. they said it would be done by the first and it wasn't so it cost me 10 points.

I will. I emailed her and she said she doesn't know the minimum points yet because the selection committee isn't done. My appt is tuesday though so we'll see. I'm feeling discouraged too I have 31 points.

Those of you that may not have quite enough points are very likely to be accepted as an alternate. If that happens, make sure that you do EVERYTHING that they tell you to do. I have 2 friends that were initially selected as alternates in my class that will be graduating with me on December 12! One was accepted like 2 weeks before school started because someone dropped out. So stay positive!! :)
