CSN Spring 2015

Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.

I was unable to find a fb page. I turned in my app around August 25, can we still make an appt. to review it, or is that just for the people that turned theres in way in advance?

Yes, you can still make an appointment to review your application, you just won't be able to change or turn anything else in.

I turned my packet in on August 28 and I met with the limited entry office to have her go over it with me 2 days ago. I have 35 points, she told me that the cutoff last semester was 30 points and can't see it fluctuating by 6 points, so I should be good to go. :) When/if we get accepted does anyone know what exactly is in the packet that you go pick up before the orientation? I have read in previous thread on here from other classes that they have to go and pick up a packet and sign a paper. Is it the physical and vaccine information? Or do we learn all about that at orientation?

Hi everyone, I applied for the Spring 2015 full time program with 31 points! I have been super anxious ever since...I really want to get in!

I just went to the appointment, just to ease my mind a little, bc I have 35, and she said 30 was there cut off for the spring 2015, she also said we would get a call last week in Oct. Shes very nice. I was asking for Regular track so not sure about part time, I read that once you get a call you go sign something I think at the reg. office saying you accept, but I thought I would ask once they call to be for sure.

Yes, once you get the acceptance call you have to go to the nursing department to officially sign the acceptance letter.

Does anyone know within how many days one must sign, if accepted into the program?

I received my call on a Thursday and I had to be at school the following Wednesday to sign. If I wasn't there (we had almost all day) I forfeited my spot. I do believe that people who were out of town were allowed to sign via fax though. But I wouldn't trust a fax machine for something that important!

So when we get accepted we just go sign an acceptance letter? When do we find out about everything we are supposed to do, at the first orientation?

Hey everyone! I noticed that it is very difficult to find the pages created on FB for the up coming nursing students. What I did was G**gled it. I'm in the process of erasing the one I created which was "Csn Nursing spring 2015." I initially was thinking of a page for a study group online type of thing for preparation to the spring semester. (Nursing 101 & Pharm 125) I think right now everyone is focused more on just getting in the program. So I wish everyone well and hopefully everyone can find the website. :)

Has anyone gotten a call yet? It's killing me waiting. I have 38 points and I think I should get in. Will someone let me know when they start calling. Thank you.
