So I'm new to this forum too guys. My story:
I'm getting out of the military and I challenge the state boards. I guess I figured I knew everything about nursing because of my military background in nursing. Two years in a inpatient Med/Surg Ward. I take the test without even studying. Big mistake. I finished with the min. amount of questions. Come to find out: I failed very badly. Two out eight catergories I got above the passing standard.
Well that was eight months ago. I didn't want to take it again because I was scared to fail and throw away another 200 bucks! So I read my saunders book front to back, page by page. I take the test again. This time I got the min. amount of questions again!!! Because my state board is Cali, I have wait another month. Geesh.
Well, guess what???
I'm a nurse, yeepee!!!
