CPR on a chicken?

  • Guides

My sister sent me this. I laughed and laughed:

I don't have any chickens but I did CPR on my dog once. Mouth to snout and a couple of compressions. You just figure it out. It worked. We didn't talk much about it afterwards so I don't know if he appreciated it or not.

One of my nursing school instructors shared a story about performing CPR on a penguin during a trip to Antarctica.

Oh my gosh that was hilarious, I laughed and laughed too!! Thx for sharing the video.

This is awesome

I once tried CPR on newborn foal. Mouth to nose and chest compressions. It didn't work as I believe the foal had expired several minute before birth. But that's just one animal I have tried to resuscitate . I also performed mouth to nose on a police dog that had been shot. That was back in my pre-nursing days when I was an dog warden for Josephine county Oregon.
