Contract and HCA

Published

I signed a two year contract last year with an HCA hospital for $5,000. I was recently offered a new job where I will be making more money and doing step down instead of med-surg (a non HCA facility). I was told that if you leave an HCA hospital and don't fulfill the contract, that HCA will never hire you again at one of their facilities. Is this true?

You will have to pay back the money but I dont know if they wont hire you back

Read the contract you signed. It contains all the terms and conditions.

I would expect that any hospital would flag someone as ineligible for rehire if s/he broke a contract.
