I am having trouble finding dependable material for studying for the ATI OA, suggestions?

Thank you!

I don't even know what that is. Have you tried the Student Forum?

There is an ATI study guide under the course search. Thats what I used and got a 3 on it.

My mentor emailed me a copy of the ATI community health study guide when I was enrolled in C228. In addition, I utilized a Community Focused Passbook that I purchased off Amazon.com to study.

I passed the OA with a score that was in the 99th percentile.

Specializes in Hospice, LTC.

Are you part of the Facebook group for RN to BSN students? I've seen lots of discussion on this topic there. Many have had good results using quizlet. Good luck!

I am in this class now, I feel it should be 6 credits instead of 3. It is pretty draining.

I agree that C228 is one of the more time-consuming courses. However, it only took me a month to complete from start to finish.

I do not think this class has enough material for a 6-credit course, so to me it seems fair that it is only worth 3 credits.

I am in this class now, too! It seems like a lot of us are bogged down. It had been a real slow down for me. Task 2 was at least interesting but task 1 has been super tedious. I think when you compare this being worth 3 credits and Nutrition being worth 3 credits, they do not seem equal, so I agree this class seems like way more work than some of the others. I was actually surprised that Community 229 is only worth 2.

3 seems fair to me in context of many other courses. 2 for 229 does seem low.

Take the two different pre-tests and study the focused reviews. You may do better than you think. I found the focused review very helpful even though (unlike Nutrition) this was definitely a course that took me longer to pass than I would have liked.
