CNA Training

Looks like the entire family is going for it..... my wife is an RN, I plan to get back into school and become and RN and now..... my 19 year old son is asking how he can become a CNA to have a stable part time job while he's in school. I've looked all over the web and can't figure out where he might go for this training/certification. Can anyone out there help me with this one?

Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center trains CNA's.

A lot of vocational schools train CNAs, but the course is longer and you have to pay tuition.

Chances are you can find a nursing home that will train someone to be a CNA for free. They do that in order for the new CNAs to stay and work for them afterward, but many take advantage of it and leave.

Hi everyone. I live in Killeen Texas and want to go for my CNA.. I jsut moved down ehre and have no idea where to go.. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Thnkas..

Try the American Red Cross too. Good luck

Tarrant County College has one but I can't find it on the website, Dallas County College has one under patient care technician on the website, also I believe PCI Health Training has a CNA/PCT program.

Try CTK Healthcare & Career in dallas/irving. Its a vocational school that trains CNA. Call 214-441-3556

There is a CNA training class that meets at Dunbar high school in Ft worth. It is around $145 for the class and it is 3 months and meets 2 X's weekly. I dont know who the company is but several of our CNA's just graduated from there....

Brookhaven college(Dallas county community college) has a Nurse aid course. The price is not bad. You should check it out!

Does anyone have a link to the program at Dunbar? I've searched and can't find it. HELP!

I got trained by Austin Community College!

you then get certified and registered in DADS...of course after the completion of clinicals and Exam.

you just go to the Highland Business Center on the 4th floor right out of the elevators you are there!

go to Austincc.edu and look for the Continuing Education link
