CHOP 2020?

Does anyone know anything about the CHOP nurse residency for December graduates? I know the last posting was for those graduating through October. When does CHOP traditionally have postings for nurse resident? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for taking the initiative to do this! I checked but nothing comes up. Can you maybe try posting a link here?

do you guys know if there is a certain time before we can internally transfer? Like is there a clause stating we have to be on the particular floor for at least _____ amount of years?

No one has said that to me. Hospitals that do that are usually pretty clear about it.

Thank you! Look forward to meet you all ?

Is there anyone who is still waiting to hear back? I interviewed in person on December 18th and haven’t heard anything back yet. I have emailed and called with no response. Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same situation or I should just take it as a no?? Thanks in advance!!

Check what your status is on your profile online! I thought I didn't get the position bc they told me I would hear back in 2 weeks, when really I heard back after 2 MONTHS!! The HR department there is super slow so I wouldn't give up yet

also...

Did you guys order your scrubs yet? I know they have a size chart but I still fear buying the wrong size...if you ordered it already would you mind putting your height/weight and what size you got? I am 5'2 and about 110 lbs...debating between XS or S

NYC is a challenging market at the moment. You have to keep plugging away at it and hope that someone bites. Also, start applying to hospitals within commuting distance of the city.
