Hi guys. I talked to an adviser and she strongly recommended that I take chem before AP, so I am just going to listen to her after much, much wrestling. I already found what professor I want. She seems like a tough but good professor.
I am a bit worried because I am terrified of chemistry. Does any on have tips or good books they used on the side to study? I saw Chemistry Demystified and it seemed alright. Of course I don't know for sure since it's Chinese to me, lol. I am going to take it with either Human growth and development or critical thinking. Or both. Whatever. So yeah, any tips would be greaaaat. Oh btw the chem I am taking is "CHM 1033 Chemistry for allied health sciences".

it's kinda like math where you need to practice answering the questions, rather than just reading the text.....good luck, you'll do great!

Thanks Marggie for starting this thread; I will be taking chem as well for fall and I will need all the help I can get.
Thanks Jennydavid! Those links are going to be a huge help.
Thanks everyone. Yeah I think there are conversions or something like that. I definitely need to get on the ball, I don't want to be lost on the first day lol.

I took chemistry 7 years ago when I originally started going for nursing. At my school they require it before starting A&P. I honestly don't remember much, so I'm of no help....just want to say good luck!!
Thank you both. :) :) :) Very kind.

Periodic "Table
calorie/joule- how to solve for kcals or grams for fat, protein/carb
