Feb 9, 201115 yr Lots of sitting and learning. Presenters all day. The good news is that they care about the employees and want us to be informed. I just have a difficult time sitting for so long. Blood products and IV training tomorrow.
Feb 9, 201115 yr What is the dress code for the first week? And in general, does Cedars-Sinai have requirements for particular scrubs? Thanks.
Feb 9, 201115 yr Business casual. It will be covered during your visit to HR. They do a good job with onboarding. Very professional. Don't worry.

Feb 10, 201115 yr By the way, the paperwork also mentioned that the next cohort begins in August-September (2011). They offer two programs each year, one in Feb-March, and the latter as previously mentioned. That is, of course, if things go as planned. =)
Feb 12, 201115 yr yes... still $33.50/hr to sit... not bad... the HR person told me today... and for the physical they do vision, optional flu shots, blood draw for titers, and 2 step TB, at least for me... but i have to do it during orientation because i have to come back for the results and all.. the people over the HR and physical exam were really nice...
