Hi Angel. I'm having difficulty visualizing what's going on with your cap but yes, we wore caps for graduation/pinning.

i want it to mold to my head, an this cap just kinda sits on top. i called my mom and she said that you have to bend it accordingly when you fasten it on, i just dont wanna look dumb on my special day!!

You mean a nursing cap, right? We wore our cap&gown, so it was the black square hat. I'm jealous..It would have been cool to wear nursing caps! :nurse:

I am so excited that your class is wearing caps for graduation! Brings back memories...(I hear violins playing in the backround :lol2: ). Seriously, when I wore a cap, and not just for graduation, we had to wear them all of time waaaaaay back when, I would kinda have to mold and shape it to fit on my head and then bobby pin the bejeebers out of it with white pins up underneath and in the back. Good luck with graduation and with getting that "perfect fit" ! Sooooo proud of you!

PS My cap had wings too!

A lot of us in our class had the same problem, our instructors had become pros at putting them on though and they helped all of us to get ready on graduation night. Good Luck to you!!

oh, white pins!! hadn't thought of that, now i wonder if i can find some!! and you do have to mold it some, good to know. i'm glad to hear your caps had wings, i've been looking online and i don't see any that look like mine. also, we have two navy blue stripes in the corner instead of one black stripe, what gives?

Where to find white bobby pins? Get regular ones and a can of white spray paint.

I was told the black stripe indicated mourning Florence Nightengale. In some countries the two blue strips indicates your RN qualifications and one red stripe indicates PN qualifications

:thankya: :flowersfo:icon_hug:

The girls are wearing their caps to graduation, I decided not to wear mine :D. They wore the plain white nurse caps last year for pinning, and they have added a single black stripe across the cap for graduation.
