Block 4 Resources

Hello all!

I was lucky enough to get accepted to do block 4 at GWCC during the summer. I will graduate in August now instead of December! Woo!

That being said, does anyone have an recommendations for extra books or anything that helped in block 4? (Block 4 is now Peds then Critical Care.)

    The Pediatric Success book worked wonders for me. Not just for the practice questions but reading the rationales really drove home the learning points for peds. The Cardiovascular/Neuro/Respiratory chapters in the Medical Surgical Success book was the same thing when helping with critical care. Listening to lecture, then doing the questions in the book & reading the rationales REALLY helped me personally survive block 4.

    How many students do you have from other schools?

    I think for me the drive would be too much - I live in the west valley so to get downtown every day would be a killer. I'm CEP and already anxious about taking those classes while I'm in block 4, with finals etc.
