Maybe you need to take a break from studying for a few days? It sounds like you are burnt out. You still have a bit of time before your test so enjoy the holiday and take some time for yourself! You might feel more refreshed and motivated after a little time away from the books... just a suggestion. Good luck!
thank you that is a great idea.. i am so worried i haven't done enough.. have a great 4th..

My test is on the same day. I feel I know nothing too.:trout: I'm just trying to do as much studying as I can and hope for the best. It's hard to study for this, I just pray it will all come together test day, although I'm notorious for not sleeping a wink the night before!
Only a few more weeks. Sound's like your going to be just fine, take a break!

Sending you both good vibes and prayers! I take mine in Sept. and feel burnt out already from studying. I have so much pressure and stress currently that it is a huge factor.

i test 7/18 and am getting really nervous too. i always read the question, then reword it, and then reread to make sure i reworded correctly...does that make sense? when doing the question trainer a coupe of times i have found my mind racing...and even though i am reading the question i don't understand it!!!!!...i'm afraid that will happen during the test..so this is how i have been dealing with it. i just stop completely, take a few slow, deep breaths and visualize all fear/anxiety leaving my body. i then think of my name with rn after it. may seem silly, but so far it has helped me to regain consentration.
only two weeks and it seems there are endless things to still learn! i just did a practice question r/t kawasaki disease. i had completely forgotten what it was!
good luck, my thoughts are with you!

Take a break and get back to it over the weekend. You do burn out before the exam...questions begin to blur. One of my girlfriends told me to keep answering no matter how bad the scores are. I tend to agree with that. But take a break, first!

Yes, take a break!!! Enjoy the 4th and then go back to it! I felt the same, and have been studying to take mine since I graduated on the 15th of June and I took mine yesterday and I think I had an aneurism for the last 24 hours. I swore I failed that test. I am from Ohio and went to Pittsburg, PA to take it, otherwise I would be waiting to take it late July, anyways, I walked out of there in tears knowing I failed it! Every vessel in my face is busted bcuz of constant worrying. I got all 205 questions for the PN and I found out today I am a REAL licensed Nurse in Ohio!!! Yeah!! Don't fret! I'll pray for you too! Goodluck!
:balloons: congrats LPNAW07! :balloons:

I'm also taking mine on 7/17. I'm concentrating on doing questions and more questions. Just have confidence that you have the knowledge, the tricky part is learning to apply it to NCLEX type questions.
Wish us luck!

Hi Everyone,
I am also taking NCLEXRN on 7/17/07. I am still feeling confident and positive so far because I know this is a big part of taking this test. I have been studying Saunders and Kaplan so I feel these two study resources are going to take me over to the passing range. My advice to recent RN grad is to stay positive, focused, and breath slowly and deeply when you feel an anxiety attack coming on. This will be my approach when I am sitting in front of the computer taking my NCLEX exam. Good Luck! Say a prayer before you take the test and do your best.
Happy to be in this challenging field of Nursing
thank you all for the positive thoughts.. a we can do it.. 7/17 will be out lucky day .... even if the anxiety kills me..
