Best NCLEX study guide?

I was shopping around today trying to choose a NCLEX study guide. I've found about 5 different publishers. The ones I can remember are Kaplan, Lippincott, Mosby. Is there a "best choice" for this? Some seem pretty thin and others are HUGE. What have you guys used and been pleased with?

Best to save your money and purchase closer to graduation or if you want to go ahead and purchase try used books on half.com I bought a wide variety on half.com for the price of one new book.

I must say, I wish I had my saunders book my 1st semester. I started using my Saunders NCLEX review book my third semester and it really REALLY helped.

Im studying for my NCLEX-PN and I have found so far I like the PN Review made icredibly easy and the Lippincotts... the others are OK, too but thse are my main two and also the Pharm made incredibly easy...

I dont agree w/ waiting until graduation--I used NCLEX books ALL through school to prepare for exams and they helped me soooo much. I even had instructors pull exam questions from the Saunders book and NCLEX Made Incredibly Easy. I recommend those two books, plus like the Davis Med Surg Success Book and the Kaplan Pharmacology Flip-O-Matic.

Best wishes!

Ive heard Saunders is a great studying tool for the NCLEX. I studied using Kaplan for my first test and I found that it didnt help. Im planning to using the newset edition of saunders. I also heard Lippincot NCLEX made incredibly easy is good with the questions and rationales. GOOd Luck.

Hi - Are there any AZ SON graduates this past spring that failed the nclex on the first try? Are you waiting to start work at St. Joesph's in Tucson, like me? If so, please reply. I just wanted to say hello.

Thanks,

Sachin

I used Saunders steadily. The ExamCram is good too, the real large one. I passed the first time.

Before you can contact Suzanne you need 15 posts to your name, we do ask that the posts are meaningful. Before you know it they can add up.
