BCIT August 2013 Applicants

Hello future nurses,

I am so excited to be starting nursing at BCIT in August!

For future applicants: To have a strong application make sure you have work experience, volunteer experience (preferably healthcare), as well as liberal arts courses - my Psych 241 at SFU transferred over as a libs course and I will find out if any other courses of mine transfer over once I send them an updated transcript.

I am going to be going in with a completed BSc in Kinesiology and Psychology, but a full degree is not necessary, just at least 60 credits to be competitive!

Anyone else defer to August?

    I got an email in mybcit account as well as in my hotmail account, So I dont check mybcit. I think I may have connected the accounts beforehand though to make emails go to both, I can't remember. I wouldn't even begin checking until mid-next week though. :)

    It sent to both mybcit and hotmail accounts. I think when you first apply to bcit they ask for an alternative email address :)

    To connect your bcit account to your preferred personal e-mail, you have to enable mail forwarding.

    Log into your bcit mail and go to Options>Settings then scroll down to the bottom to Mail Forwarding.

    Add your preferred email address and click "Enable mail forwarding" and voila!

    Possibly just 5-6 more days!!!

    I saw that. May 10th is the orientation isn't it? I think they were giving us a farther date so they have plenty of time. I'm thinking it may be around the same date at last year - 25. At least I'm hoping!
