Baptist Versant Program 2014

Hello everyone! I just wanted to know if anyone applied to this program? I would also like to get some feedback on previous New Grads that went through the program. THANKS! :)

I've had two friends that they have called to offer jobs yesterday.

Good luck to everyone and don't be discouraged if they don't call! There are plenty of other jobs out there for you and the right one will come your way :)

well nothing here yet so lets wait and see.. I called HR and they told me they are going to call next week too so there is still hope.. GL :)

do you any of you happen to know when the applications open up again? thanks.

I heard Jan..does anyone know when they will post it..?.

Just wanted to say congratulations to all of those who applied and got in and good luck to those who are in the process of applying and interviewing. I started this form and I'm glad it's helped a lot of people get information from each other. I am no longer working for Baptist due to the distance and I received a job opportunity in the cath lab at Holycross. However it was an amazing program that definitely prepared me and guided me through my first year as a new grad.

No. I received and accepted a job offer at another hospital

Holy cross seems to be a great place to work as well. How far was your travel time to Baptist?

Holycross has been great so far. I live in Hollywood and I worked nights so it took about an hr or a little more to get to work in the afternoon and then about the same time to get home in the mornings. I fell asleep driving on my way home (I was about 5 mins away) and hit a car. Luckily I was stopping at a red light so it wasn't a big impact but it scared me. I also got engaged and my fiance works in deerfield so moving south wasn't an option for us. A friend of mine who worked in the EP lab told me about an opening in the cath lab and I applied and got in.
