Baptist Versant Program 2014

Holycross has been great so far. I live in Hollywood and I worked nights so it took about an hr or a little more to get to work in the afternoon and then about the same time to get home in the mornings. I fell asleep driving on my way home (I was about 5 mins away) and hit a car. Luckily I was stopping at a red light so it wasn't a big impact but it scared me. I also got engaged and my fiance works in deerfield so moving south wasn't an option for us. A friend of mine who worked in the EP lab told me about an opening in the cath lab and I applied and got in.

Awe gotcha! I work at Baptist now and I drive 45 minutes from the ft lauderdale area. I love the hospital!!! That would scare me too! Good luck in your new job! Cath lab is pretty cool.

i got a call for Med Surg as well. I don't know if I should hold out to interview with Baptist. I have a start date with a loca HCA program - I think Parallon- starting next week.

Hi I applied for the Versant program as well and I had a phone interview. They told me they should be calling for panel interviews in about 2 weeks. I was wondering if I can handle this and my classes for my BSN? Also, what should I expect with this program and if we get paid while in this program. Thank you, any information will be a huge help!
