Many people have posted on this subject. My daughter attended a private school and got loans for around $26,000. Some schools are up there in the $44,000 range. Look for posts in the forums here or just flat out call some of the schools in your area and ask them the question. Tell them all you want to know is the cost. If at all possible, you should try to attend a community college program. Not only is it immensely cheaper (around $9,000), but the quality of the education is much better, the classes are transferable to other schools, and you may be completing the first portion of the RN program or find that the LVN to RN bridge is available to you. Private school courses usually transfer nowhere. Good luck with your decisions.

I attended Casa Loma College, located in Van Nuys, and completed their LVN program in 2004 and 2005. Back then, the tuition for their LVN program was $19,995, although the school's administration was discussing another tuition hike for future classes.
