AVC RN program fall 2019

Hey everyone!

Thought I'd start a thread for people who've just applied for antelope valley college fall RN program because im nervous as hell waiting for this letter and i figures others might be too. This is my 1st time applying and i took the TEAS super late and almost 2 years after my A&P classes ? soo with that said, how is everynody else feeling?

    Has anybody done their drug test yet? If you have, where did you do it, how much did it cost, & how long does it take for the results to come in?

    I just did my drug test yeaterday, got it done at summit urgent care. (One of the suggested places from the packet we were sent). It cost $55 & the results are sent directly to the school in 3-5 days. Im not sure how we confirm they were delivered.

    I got mine done at arcpoint labs. It’s was 35$ and I got the results back within 2 days

    They were also listed in the packet. They told me I have to bring my lab results to the school though. They don’t send them automatically.

    Much better deal. Summit has the most availability hours whise but seems to be the most expensive.

    Thank you everyone for the info. I called sixcess drug screening to get a price quote and the lady said it’s a 40$ test but for the college students they only charge 25$. So cheapest one if you’re looking to save a few bucks which I’m sure we all are!

    I just registered for the Life Support course at AVC on August 8. If anyone is wondering, it is $65 to register.
