Hey everyone!
Thought I'd start a thread for people who've just applied for antelope valley college fall RN program because im nervous as hell waiting for this letter and i figures others might be too. This is my 1st time applying and i took the TEAS super late and almost 2 years after my A&P classes ? soo with that said, how is everynody else feeling?

I applied two years ago, and still nothing. Best of luck!

I applied to their LVN to RN program last year. I am praying to start during this summer cohort. It is hard cause you don't know anything till you receive a letter in the mail. I really wish AVC used email notification and kept you in the loop rather than keeping you wondering.

Hi, has anyone received a letter or have any information when they are sending letters for the lvn to rn bridge. I am number 7 on the wait list. Anyone else on the wait list.? Want to get in for 2019
@1pinknurse i agree. The system is a bit outdated and would really benefit by going about electronic notification.
@NurseJyes no I've not heard anything pertaining to the program at all ? im not sure what number i am either, do you just call the school and ask?

Hi....last I heard, I was #23 but that was months ago. I am assuming that my number has gone up a little cause I have everything done (all pre-reqs including TEAS VI). Your number is very good. From what I have heard is letters are mailed out the middle of April for the LVN to RN bridge program. Only the nursing office staff has your waitlist number.
Oh wow ok. Well let’s see what happens. I scored really low on my teas . Barely passed. I didn’t time my self good and ended up not doing well at all. I hope they don’t hold it against me. I have been calling alllll week all hours of the day and no one has answered. I think they turned the ringers off.. ??. If anyone hears anything please post!!

Yeah, this wait sucks! I scored good on my 1st attempt and the nursing counselor was happy with the result. At least at AVC you can take it again and that is a blessing. Most schools around only accept the 1st attempt only. Me too. LOL they are sick of us!
Fingers crossed for a good waitlist spot. Guess we'll all be calling this week lol they just turned the ringer off instead.
They won't return or answer calls, so I guess we just wait. Hopefully, you got a letter this past September to ask if you were interested in the program. I hand delivered mine to the nursing office and I noticed there was only about 1 week given for responses.

i Have applied for avc rn program too, I retook my TEAS before the deadline so now my points are higher and I’m hoping it’s enough to get me in for fall 2019. Anyone comfortable sharing points? I asked some students in rotation at antelope valley hospital and not one of the three would tell me their points they had to get in.
