Anyone in the process of applying to Frontier's class 71??

I interviewed today. We have to wait til September 1st to find out? I will be crawling up the walls by then!

With the way this summer is flying by, I bet Sept 1 is here before you know it (and just think what a great day it is going to be...when you get your acceptance !) How did the interview go?

That would be a great day. I felt pretty confident with my answers, but I normally get good vibes when I do well... It was pretty hard for me to read. I hope hope hope it went well!!!!

When do you interview?

I sent in my application on the 21st and tried to be smart and use certified mail to make sure it got there. Of course the post office attempted to deliver it before normal business hours today and nobody was there to sign for it. Now it's sitting in the Hyden post office and someone from the school either has to pick it up or call to get it re-delivered. Ugh. I sure hope somebody there is nice enough to go get it.

How quickly were you guys able to schedule your phone interviews once they received your application? I was really counting on being able to get my interview done next week.

It took the office about a week to email saying they recieved my application. I got the email on a Friday, called the interview coordinator on Tuesday and the interview is coming up on Monday.

The coordinator said that she was a bit behind from vacation, so you might be able to line it up even faster if they are all caught up.

Hi! I am applying to class 71, trying in a hurry to get all my stuff in. I live in Oregon, been a L&D nurse for about 3 years. I am doing the RN-MSN bridge/midwifery. I would love to get to know others who are going to be doing the same thing.

They finally got my application and processed it really quickly, but the earliest interview slot they had open is two weeks away. Too much waiting makes me anxious.

Welcome Michelle! Good luck getting your application together. I've worked in L&D for 2 years and I'm from NY. I'm not doing the bridge program, but hope to see you in November!

I did my interview this morning. The questions weren't too bad but here I am now wondering if I gave good enough answers. This is going to be a long wait until september, ahhhhh.

I've been meaning to post since my interview...but just haven't gotten around to it until now!

I think the interview went pretty well - the questions seemed like pretty regular interview questions...ie) strengths, weakness, goals...

The kicker is that they said I won't hear until mid to late September...I'm not sure I'll make it that long!

Has anyone heard how many slots/applicants there are for the CNM program?

I applied in the Spring for class 69. I had a nice interview and felt really great about everything. I am just finishing my BSN but Ive been an RN for a while. I had plenty of L&D experience, great grades, and generally felt good about it all. I found out that my acceptance was defered to class 72. I assumed that it was because I didnt have my BSN completed at the time, but Im not really sure. I was also told that the orientation for 71 was already full.

I was told during my interview that as long as you meet the requirements you will be accepted, but sometimes they have to defer for a semester.
