I realize I chose to live in Michigan, but ugh!! :uhoh3:

I heard on the radio that out of the last 20 days, it has snowed 17!! :crying2:

I'm tired of driving in it, especially to clinicals at 0700 and having to get

up super-early to get there because our school NEVER closes! :angryfire

I feel better.

Thanks for listening.

Although I don't live anywhere near Michigan, I was quietly chuckling at your post!

It's sunny here, and we have even had a few 70 degree days during our very mild winter. The last time it snowed in my area was back in January 2007, slightly over 1 year ago. It would be nice if we had some snow for a change, though not in excess.

I'm not only sick of the snow, but also the way the weather has been changing. Last week in a 9 mile stretch I drove through snow, then sleet, then rain and back to snow. not to mention that livin g in Michigan means you need to LEARN to drive in snow. Why do people freak out if a snowflake hits their windshield and slam on their brakes?

Ha! I couldn't resist posting here either...Commuter and I are probably 50 miles from each other...in the Texas sun *(finally!!)..

Sorry to hear of your snow problems - I'd love to see that for just a few days here! Snow in the south makes people crazy.

Sending some sun your way

OMG! Can we write a letter to someone? Can we sign a petition? I am at my wits end with the snow. Last Tuesday I bout lost my mind coming from my psych clinical. Our usual 30 minute drive to our carpool site took 2 HOOUURRSS! Then I had to drive an additional 1 hour to get home....which is usually 30 minutes. I was so sore when I got home...:vlin:

And to think....I was so geeked when I bought my new car with heated seats last summer. I was kinda looking forward to winter just to use it....now....:scrm:enough already!

This will be us soon..:onbch: Sorry with ALL the smilies are they so cute!

last tuesday I actually gave up after trying for 2 hours to get from my job to hfcc when I was only at 8 mile and southfield when my class started(and not moving) I said forget it and turned around. It took me another hour to get home. I can not wait for some warmth and the temp to move above freezing and stay there for a while.

I HATE the snow. Please tell me it does not snow in Houston.

I my heat stays on 90 degrees AND I have the seats heated. Ask my carpool buddies.....;) Inside my car feel like we live on the equator.

OH, not to mention our home heating bill....:flmngmd::spbox:. I saw that bill last month, I was like triple blankets for all and huddle! I refuse to turn it above 72 degrees. We have four skylights in our vaulted ceilings. Man, we should have re-thought that when our house was built.

Yes, I'm sick of snow! Freezing rain is forcast for tomorrow and the weekend.

I'm not in MI, I just saw the "sick of snow" thread and thought I'd chime in before I saw this was the MI nurse's forum. Didn't mean to give you a weather-moment- I don't know what the forecast is in MI.

Sorry!:uhoh21:

One of the reasons I'm giving up home health nursing is that snow that turns to rain that freezes on the ground and gets covered with more snow. It doesn't take a lot of it either to mess everything up. I'll scream and hold my breath if winter doesn't end soon. Not in Michigan but had to commiserate on this one.
