Advice Please

I have a cumulative GPA of 2.745 with a BSN. Initially I was in prepharm taking prereqs. It took me 3 years to do that. I retook classes and still didnt get into my local pharm school. Then I went to nursing school. I plan to retake my inorganic, organic, micro, A&P, and take a Biochem class. If making all A's in these classes, that would bring my last 60 GPA up to about a 3.6. It is nearly impossible to bring the cumulative GPA because of the number of hours I accumulated throughout my college career. So I am wondering, will a 3.6 GPA of the last 60 hours and a good GRE score be competitive for admission to a CRNA school around the nation. I am willing to apply to any school that will give me consideration. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

They looked hard at my last 60 hours and looked past my overall. Make sure you have a good GRE score, interview, etc. and you should be fine.

Do you mind telling me what school you got into. Or what schools look at the last 60 hours hard. So i can focus on those. Thanks.

i wanna know too

I would no waste your time re-taking all those classes. Take some graduate level classes. I had a 2.49 in nursing school. What can I say....young and didn't care at the time. But I have taken graduate level classes and have a 4.0. I've taken stats, Adv. Cardiovascular Physiology, and neurobiology. Plus, I'm taking an Advanced pathophysiology class this summer. I have 13 years experience (5+ CVICU/CCU/MICU). GRE-530 Quant/470 verbal. I will also be taking my CCRN exam. I actually called the schools that I was interested in and they suggested taking the grad level (science/nursing) classes instead of re-taking under-grad classes. You can usually enroll into grad level classes as a post-bac non degree seeking student. Hope all this info helps.
