A&P 1, 8 weeks, A&P 2 8 weeks

So has anyone else taken A&P 1 and A&P 2 back to back in 16 weeks, so 8 weeks each class?? I know I am going to be studying ALOT, but was wondering if anyone else has done this..

Well I've taken AP I in 7 weeks and I had a full time job. Very hard work . Very very hard. But as long as you stay focused it cam be done. It's very mentally tiring but can be done. I barely made an A. But I did.

From what I hear from people who have attempted it, 8 week a&p is not ideal because there's so much information to retain that you will need for nursing school. Maybe you should consider doing the 16 week course, but ultimately its up to you. There's already posts on the site with people sharing their experiences with that. Goodluck.

Thanks, I know its not ideal, but I didn't have too much of a choice. I need to get them done, and as a mom of 3 I needed to be home for my kids and the college offered no classes that would work, except with the HARDEST teacher ever! So I have night classes, which means i have all day while the kids are in school to study.... We will see how this goes, I'm hoping well. :)

It is doable. I just finished A&P I & II this summer - each being a four week course. I also took my stats course online as well and ended up with three As.

I made study guides using the quiz and recall method. I basically went though my notes and converted them to questions. To study I went through the questions over and over until I was able to answer them all. I also used quizlet.com a lot for lab practicals.

If you want to do it it can be done! : )

(Hopefully this all makes sense because I'm on my phone).

Thanks so much comingsoon for your input... I guess I am alittle nervous.... :( I know I can do it...I've been keeping up a pretty high GPA no Cs for me! LOL I passed Chem last semester with an A, so I am hoping it goes smoothly!

The anticipation is the worst part of it. I took both semesters of A&P last summer in back to back 5 week sessions. It wasn't awful.

I'm doing it this semester! I think it's going to be a lot of work, but doable. I hope we both do well.
