  1. Congrats to everyone that has heard so far! I'm praying for those of you still waiting. I think they do them in batches so don't fret yet!
  2. I just got my email. I was accepted but I've already replied to TN Wesleyan. Good luck to you all!
  3. I also use Quizlet and when I use a set someone already made I always double check before I start studying. A lot of times they have extras in there that I don't need and some that I need to add. They have a feature that you can export all the cards and make your own set. So if I saw a deck that had a lot of the cards I liked, I would export them to make my own and double check the answers. I want to read this blog too! What is the blog?
  4. That sounds good! I'll send you a private message with my name so you can friend me. I've never started a group before but we will figure it out! Haha
  5. Congratulations! This is such an exciting time!
  6. I thought everything would be good once the wait for our acceptance letters was over but now I'm ready for the next phase! Looking at the Red Cross website they only have two CPR classes in Knoxville before August - May 19 and June 16. It would be awesome to get a group started and begin getting to know everyone. I think that would give us one less thing to worry about when school starts!
  7. Haha I was thinking of starting a Facebook group too!I assume they will be sending schedule stuff in June but I'm not really sure. I'm anxious to get more info! : )
  8. Awesome! Nancy told me all about the schedule when I met with her but that was almost a year ago. All the info is great to know! Do you want to try to meetup for the CPR course? It might be nice to know someone going into the program before we start!
  9. Yeah, I'll probably go ahead and get it out of the way. It said in the letter they sent that it was due by Aug. 1st so I want to make sure I get it in. I would hate for something to come up and me not be able to get into a class or something! Did they say anything else interesting at the Open House? I thought about going but didn't think it would be informative for those already accepted.
  10. Do you have your CPR certification yet? I did mine a couple of years ago so I'm going to go ahead and retake it to refresh my memory.
  11. Thanks - you too!
  12. I'll take the sciences over these other classes any day! Literature is not something I enjoy much! :-)
  13. I have finally found my passion so it made it a little easier to force myself to get it done. I still have two literature classes, a history and philosophy class left. I took all of my pre-reqs at Pellissippi.
  14. Absolutely worth it! I will be taking three or four classes too. I took A&P 1 & 2 plus stats together last summer - you will do great! Where are you taking your classes? I basically crammed the entire two years worth of pre-reqs into one year so I still have a few to go but I don't mind. I really enjoy school! haha
  15. Yay! Do you have anymore classes to take this summer? I'm taking a few to finish up my pre-reqs.
