So our professor gives us an assignment, its extra credit and worth 5 points... This is our assignment: I could not find any source indicating whether anastomoses of the heart increase with age or not. Your challenge: find a source that definitively says wether they increase or not (ie, the source has to specifically address this question). Give a short summary of what the source says about changing numbers of anastamoses (just a few sentences) and give your source using proper bibliographic structuring. If you are using a website, give the address of the actual page you found the information on not the homepage (ie don't tell me you got it on Wikipedia.com). Can anyone help me??? This is due tomorrow at 4, I have spent like 4 hours searching the internet to find something that I can use, and I haven't had any luck! I am beyond frustrated, and could really use the 5 points... can anyone help or give me some sites that might have something?? I am at a loss!!!

GREAT JOB!! I envy you :) As of right now i have a B.... trying to bring it up and keep it to an A!! I honestly thought Chem was easier than A&P so I am sure you will do great in Chem and I have heard A&P II is easier, at least thats what my professor says!! I hope she is telling the truth! :) Good luck on your journey to nursing school and great job on the great A&P grade!!

I say go for it! I'm not as old as you, but have 3 kids at home and am trying my hardest to finish my prerequisites and getting into school. I say age shouldn't determine what you want to do with your life! Remember you are still young and obviously have the motivation to finish your degree!! Good luck to you!!! :)

I just started 8 week A&P a new weeks ago.... and the best tip I can give is don't get behind, I think the sticky on this site about A&P from my brain to yours by polka-dot is awesome!!!! :) You will do great, don't worry so much! :)

I have been working on my prerequisites for a year and a half :) I only take 2 classes at a time though, I have 3 kids and too many credit hours is overload for me! Out of the classes I have taken so far, I would probably say the most challenging is A&P :/ I think I personally overlaoded myself iwth an 8 week A&P... probably won't do it again after this semster, but everyone learns at their own pace... so that doesn't mean you couldn't do it that way! I am sure you will get through it, just keep your head up!! :)

You will do great! I was the same way, and actually get nervous all over again every semseter!! lol The harder the classes get the more nervous I get! but all I can say is the classes have given me the confidence to know I can do it as long as I put the time and effort into it! You will do great I'm sure, have fun with your classes! :)

Thanks so much comingsoon for your input... I guess I am alittle nervous.... I know I can do it...I've been keeping up a pretty high GPA no Cs for me! LOL I passed Chem last semester with an A, so I am hoping it goes smoothly!

Thanks, I know its not ideal, but I didn't have too much of a choice. I need to get them done, and as a mom of 3 I needed to be home for my kids and the college offered no classes that would work, except with the HARDEST teacher ever! So I have night classes, which means i have all day while the kids are in school to study.... We will see how this goes, I'm hoping well. :)

So has anyone else taken A&P 1 and A&P 2 back to back in 16 weeks, so 8 weeks each class?? I know I am going to be studying ALOT, but was wondering if anyone else has done this..

Well I am almost done with my prerequsites I have 5 left, taking 2 this semester. Anyway I am sick of my hair and was hoping to get a cute cut and my hair dyed and was wondering if darker underneath and lighter on top would be unproffessional.. I am not going with anything drastic, just maybe dark brown underneath and darker blonde with highlights on top. Any advice would be appreciated. I want to be taken seriously by proffessors and such and don't want something like my hair to make them see me as rebellious or anything. I am 27 if that help.. lol
