I'm a new grad with an associates degree. I was wondering if there are jobs out there for me. Or should I have to an lpn job to meanwhile doing the rn - bsn program. Do I have to take the nclex again for lpn asap after taking the nclex-rn?

Not all if even many states will allow those who have completed an RN program to take the NCLEX-PN, and of those that do, I believe it is after completing a certain portion of the RN program. You can only work as an LPN if you hold a license as an LPN. It's not a consolation prize for RNs unable to find jobs as RNs.

How have you been looking for jobs? Are you only looking at facilities near you? Are you only looking at positions in your desired specialty? Unless you are in a setting where there is truly a nursing shortage (and those areas seem to be getting fewer and smaller), chances are you won't be getting your choice of jobs. You may need to be flexible about where you work (acute care, long term care, outpatient offices, etc), what shifts you will work, and what specialty you will work in. You may find yourself needing to relocate. Are there jobs out there for ADNs? Yes, but you will need to do some research to find them, hone your resume, and practice your interviews to make yourself stand out.
