How many of you are there? What's next for you? I've just registered for classes. We only have one set of clinicals in the first semester. It's adult care 1. Other than that we have assessment and fundamentals. I need to get my physical and get tested to see if I still have immunity from previous vaccines. If not, I get to be a pin cushion for a little while :) Other than that, I have to figure out how I'm going to pay for school now that I'm taking on twice the tuition bill transferring to a university. I'm applying to two hospitals to see if I can get in their scholarship and service programs. This is a super busy month!

The first semester is usually the hardest as it serves to separate devoted students to those who might have fell into choosing nursing. In a 4 year program like the one we have, our J1 (junior 1st semester) started with 98 students. The following semester, we only had 80 students return.

Only words of wisdom are...Keep positive and study hard.

The majority of the students that we lost in our program were in the first semester. I could only work 12hrs a week. I would suggest you stay focused and study your butt off. It is not easy, but good for you for having such an upbeat atttitude. Best of luck :)

I start Fall 2012! I'm so excited and have read my acceptance letter at least 25 times! :-) We will be getting more info in June about classes and such. I have to get immunization and physical stuff together as well.

I can't wait to start!

I received my acceptance letter back in November. I begin in the fall of 2012 as well. I'm excited yet very nervous at this big change in my life! However, I plan to work extremely hard and stop at nothing to reach my goal. Congratulations to my fellow "classmates" and good luck this Fall!

I'm in too! Start this fall. I'm debating taking an evening class also, but haven't figured that out yet. We don't get our schedules until June 8th, so it's hard for me to plan anything right now.

I received an honors scholarship, so I just have to come up with money for books!!!!! I am so grateful for that one.

I just got my letter yesterday that I have been accepted into the Fall Nursing program! Super excited! I was very impatiently awaiting for 2 responses, got into my first choice school though! On cloud nine :)

I'm starting nursing school this Fall too. I'm real excited and can't wait! Congrats to everyone who's been accepted and/or is starting Fall 2012. :)

I heard about a month ago and got my official acceptance packet a week ago. Classes begin May 14th, boot camp is May 8-10th. First semester is only 3 credit hours, Intro to Nursing is 2 credit hours and Intro to Pharm and Calculations is 1 credit hour, so I'll have plenty of time to work this summer! I feel so fortunate to even be accepted to the program and I can't wait to begin! :yeah:Congrats to everybody else who got accepted!

I'm in for Fall 2012 as well! I'm in the process of getting my immunization boosters and just had my titer done. We have orientation June 12th and I am hoping to have my schedule at that time. The nursing faculty make our schedules, so I have no idea what my hours are going to be like. I am so excited, yet super nervous at the same time!
