On my way to my last semester!!!

I got my final grades yesterday. I passed. :yeah: I am so excited. I am officially in my last semester of nursing school. This past semester I had Med Surg III and Psych. It was the hardest semester that I had ever had. Me and Psych did not get along. I failed the first two tests, but after that I finally figured out how to analyze those psych questions. I am just excited to go back in January and apply for graduation in May. I hope everyone has a very very Merry Christmas!!!!

Congrats! I bet it must feel great to be almost done! I just finished my first semester and can't wait to be where you are!! Good luck on your last semester!

Congrats...I am on my last semester...no test just projects! I completed my preceptorship hours. Graduation is next month, hurray!!!!!!!

I'm in the last semester too and I can't fricken' wait. I am really tired of taking time away from my amazing 4 year old....almost resentful. My boy has waited patiently for his dad to spend time with him, and here I am almost done. I'm trying to get a job where I am an extern to work fri, sat and Sun..12hours so I can be a full-time dad during the week to make it up to him.

Congratulations on your final term. Hopefully in April we can both be posting how we are now graduate nurses.

I am starting my last semester on Jan. 4! I can't wait! I too have a 4 year old little boy, who has been waiting for me to be done! I am also hoping to find a Fri, Sat, Sunday job so I can stay home during the week with him! When does everyone graduate? Mine is scheduled (God willing) for May 1, 2010 at 11am!!!!! :yeah:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm also entering my last semester in January and I am beyond excited. I've got 2 little ones that need mama's attention. I can't wait 'til May!!!

Congrats!! (To the OP and all the others who posted, as well!). I am with you on the Psych! I figured out how to answer them, too...but sometimes I still just don't "get" it!

I'm graduating (fingers crossed!!) May 14th...classes start back up again on Jan 18th. Until then, on to the resume and cover letter writing!!

Enjoy your breaks, everyone!!

My final semester starts January 11th, and graduation is May 7, 2010, at 3 pm! :yeah: This semester will be the best ever, too - ICU preceptorship and public health!

Yay for all of us heading into the home stretch! I am starting 4th semester on Jan 14th and I have Psych and Transitions to Nursing Practice. Transitions has no tests just 60 hours of preceptor clinicals, plus papers and projects and Psych has 3 tests and about six weeks of clinicals 1 day a week. Then NCLEX review class and graduation and Pinning on the weekend of the 7-8 of May.Wheeeee!

Wow I am in good company, because I too am starting my final semester in Jan. I am so excited (well not about Psych.) but to be almost done. Yay!! Graduation is scheduled to be on May 14th with pinning the day before. I wish you all the best.
