I feel like Harry Potter

HI, I'm new here, but I've been reading a lot lately. I just got accepted at Ivy Tech in Richmond, IND to the RN program.:D I've been reading about all the new students getting their lists for uniforms, books, and other materials, and it reminds me of Harry Potter receiving his letter from Hogwarts. I'm sure we're all in for an adventure. Good luck to everyone starting this fall.

LOL don't forget the Hermione's who have already read all of the textbooks and every post on allnurses. And all the students coming from nursing families.

Sometimes I feel raised outside the nursing universe, even though I've known my whole life that nurses existed.

I would also say that getting the non-acceptance letters feels like the equivalent of not getting your Hogwarts letter when you turn 11.

Although, 27 inches is a little long for a wand...even Hagrids was only 16 inches.

And Littman Master Classic sounds a lot more like a broom...

Haha it's funny you say that! My boyfriend bought me my Littmann Master Classic II. Stethoscope, and when he gave me it he was like, "It sounds like I bought you a broomstick or something from Harry Potter!!"...I hadn't really thought of it that way until he said that...but now whenever anyone talks about stethoscopes that's all I tend to think about is how various stethoscopes sound like a broomstick Harry Potter would use!!! :)
