I am looking for fellow nurse aides who are in college studying in other areas. Are any other nurse aides working on BS or MS degrees. I am sure that I am not the only one.

I commend you for taking this very important step. Education is never lost. It will make you better and better. All through school while I was working on my MSN, I kept saying "you jump through the hoops...you get what you want." It's hard to do, I got my BSN and worked 48 hrs a week. Forget about a life for a while, but it is a lot better and worth it when you succeed. Go for it!

I'm currently in school for an ADN to MSN program and still work full-time. Best decision I've ever made.

I would like to know what your Master's degree is in?

:) I once had a float tech with me. This guy was GREAT! He was very disciplined and would go out of his way to assist. I asked him if he was in nursing school, and he said he'd just retired and wanted a second career.

Retired? The director told me weeks later. "Yep as a 2 star General...worked in the Pentagon.." This is the guy who hand carried urine specimens to the lab.....and so much more.
