Music / Songs to represent nursing

One of my classes has me doing an art project to represent nursing. I've choreographed a short dance routine, but I need a song to go with it...

I thought of Care Bears theme song, and Aaliyah "I Care 4 U"... but are there other suggestions?

Wow, I think I'd quit school immediately if they made us do that....please don't let any of my instructors be reading this and thinking "that's a good idea"....I am about the least artistic person you will ever meet in your life. Give me math and science, all day every day, please! I feel for you, but I don't have any suggestions...

Amen to that! I'm unhappy with the fact that they're making me take a speech class . . . I can't imagine what class this is for and how this would be useful to learn to be a nurse! Wow.

Anyway, best of luck to the OP!

I think this is a strange project but feel that a speech class is very useful. I actually have been asked about my communication skills at my last interviews & was able to say that I got A's in both public speaking & college writing, as well as being the student speaker for both pinning & graduation. I couldn't have done that without my speech class.

How about "The Nurse" by the White Stripes?

That song is about someone overdosing on Heroin.

Twisted Sister - Heroes Are Hard to Find

after being a nurse for 15 years, i sometimes sing the stones' " beast of burden."

"i'll never be your beast of burden- my back is broke, my feet are hurtin', now!"

(i change some of the words, tho- directed to admin, docs, )

"all i want is for you to re-spect me-e-e"

"well, i'm smart enough, and i'm tough enough, and i'm skilled enough, but you're too blind to seeeee..."

Yes, and even if it wasn't "In the arms of an Angel..." Not very approprate for nursing.
