hello everyone i'm new to the site and forum. i really need some help if anyone out there can or is willing to help me. i recently moved to maryland and things aren't working out for me at all. i've been enrolled here as a pre-rn student and have just completed my last pre-req's. i'm trying to move back to ny by the end of fall semester or if i find what i'm looking for maybe sooner. i want to find a accelerated asn program or a rn program that doesn't have a waiting list. i really need this, it's me and my daughter and i want to provide in the best way for us and that's why i want to find an accelerated program. it won't stop there because i want to be a practioner, but right now i need to finish asn so i can begin to work. thanks

I don't know any accelerated ASN programs...but why don't you consider doing the LPN..one year. That way you can work while you finish the other year of school. Also, the place where you work can also finance the rest of your education. If you need info on LPN or RN schools in NY i can help you.

Cochran School of Nursing you can finish your ADN in a year and a half all depending on your grades in Nursing 1 & 2.

-Downstate has a 1 yr BSN prgram.

Keep in mind you must have finished, scored high on the pre-reqs, and have a bachelor's degree already to apply for Downstate's BSN program!!!

Also the college of Molley have a accelerated program, but its BSN

I see you are from Brooklyn...what part and are you an RN already...if so where did you go to school?
