please let me know what it covered? We will be having our tests in nclex(sp?) format. How did your test go.I believe the test will be sixty questions. As a post script we will be doing bed baths next week. we have to come in shorts and we can wear our bras. neat and nifty! Got to love it.:imbar

we covered nursing practice acts, what is professional nurse, vital signs etc. I was jsut curious more about the format the questions took?

Try this site

It's the website for my Fundamentals book. If you choose a chapter, then click "begin", the next page will have a menu on the left. There will be a place where you can click on NCLEX multiple choice questions. That may help with what you are looking for.

Rhona,

Just had vital sign test on Wednesday. Covered things like different rates for each age. Ya know, for like TPRBP. I can honestly say that yes, it is like the NCLEX is worded but it really depends on whether your teacher writes the exam or not. If they do they tend to go a bit easier on you..or so I have experienced. Good luck!

I agree, the exams are a bit easier than what I expected.. multiple choice NCLEX style, pick the best answer. Ours have been about 50 questions.

We also have a quiz every week.

Hey Carol---

We are using the same book. Actually we use this book for both Fundamentals and Concepts.

What a great website.

I used the website a LOT last semester. We are using this book and about 3 others for Med Surg I this semester. I'll probably still use the website--some of the questions on our test were strikingly similar to ones on the website!

Thank you for the site info.I have been on it for the last hour. Very interesting.

our test are in nclex style/format also.

We take our first exam on Tuesday. We get (have received) a blue-print for each exam. This exam will cover legal/ethical issues, role of nursing, nursing concepts, group process, boundary crossing/sexual harassement, profession, and our student handbook. We have a total of 50 questions and they are NCLEX styled questions and come from a "test-bank."

Best of luck to everyone, have a GREAT weekend and find some time for yourself.
