My journey - Don't give up !

Today I am proud to say I officially completed my BSN program and I will be graduating next Saturday May 7th.

So at my school, we use ATI and 2 weeks ago our first RN Comprehensive Predictor was given. At my university, you have to achieve at least a 69.3 (90% chance of passing NCLEX on first attempt).

Sadly, I did not pass by 4 points (65.3%= 80%). I was discouraged and really started to beat myself up. I was so disappointed in myself; the next day at my Senior Preceptorship I was slacking and not performing up to par.

Then I realized: I worked entirely too hard to give up now. This is only a test from God. After that I completed almost 1000 questions using our practice comprehensive exams, as well as the ATI mentor app. Additionally, we had to complete our focus review. So I focused on each area I scored below a 69.3%. For the practice exams: every question I had incorrect, I would write down facts from each option's rationale. I studied my notes and continued to do practice questions up until last night.

Today I passed with 78% which is 98% chance of me passing the NCLEX on the first try !

Moral of the story, never give up and keep chasing your dreams until they are achieved :)
