Does anyone know of jobs where you can work from home? I am an RN with a newborn and I don't want to do back to my 12 hour shift! I want to stay home with my baby.

How much/what type of experience as an RN do you have?

Is there a way you can budget or cut your budget so you can stay home? I'd start there first.
There are case management jobs but that depends on your experience.

There are many telecommuting positions available.
None of them will let you stay home while you take care of your newborn. It is a contractual agreement that you focus on your job.. rather than take care of your baby.

You can get a job as a care manager through an insurance company but you would still have to have someone watch your baby because you will be quite busy working all day.
My grandmother lives next door so I would take the baby to her. Being at home and just knowing he is next door while I am working eases my mind. I've been looking online. Does anyone know which specific companies hire?

I am a case management RN who works from home, although I will not mention the name of my employer due to privacy concerns.
My coworkers with infants still must utilize childcare several days per week because this position involves driving around to healthcare facilities.

I did telephone triage for 3 years. You can get a license from the states you will be taking calls from. Insurance companies, doctor's offices, and many pharmacies hire phone nurses. I wish I would not have quit. I started working hospice on the side making a ton of money and I quit the phone job. I always regret that. Someday I may look for a phone job again. It was very rewarding, I worked while my kids were asleep from midnight to 8 AM and took calls from 60 different doctors, they all had protocols we used. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend doing anything you can to stay home with your babies. During the preschool years their personality is forming and my number one regret is that I did not stay at home with them more. Now they are both looking at colleges they are in high school. STAY WITH YOUR little ones while you can, you never get to take it back. If I had to do it over again, we would have built a smaller economical house and I could have absolutely stayed at home full time. Being a mom and wife should be number one.
Without knowing how much & what type of experience you have, it's hard to make suggestions.
I working as an LPN in 2011 -2012 in long term care/skilled care. From 2013-current I was as an RN in a hospital on med surg or skilled care floor.
