How many nursing classes should an average person take

Specializes in ER, Med-Surg.

In our program it's 15 credit hours a semester. Now each class has different amounts but it's 2 or 3 classes.

True but do you guys actually take 15 is it to much to handle

our program design that each semester you need to take around 18 credits but most of the people reduce it to 10 credits

Is that 10 credits of strictly nursing and a Gen ed course to be full time?

15 isn't too much in my opinion, it's alot of work but it's not too much. You adjust to it.

We don't really have much choice. For our first semester in the program, for example, we have 18 credits. There is a 4 credit co-req, pathophysiology, that can be taken before starting in the nursing program, reducing the first semester to 14 credits but there's no way to reduce it any further. Most semesters are similar with the fewest number of credits that we can take being around 12.

I'm trusting you on this the classes are intro to nurse 2 credits

Nurse development class 3 credits

and nurse foundation lecture and lab 6 credits

I'm just an average person I got Bs in both a&p and I know this isn't. On the same lvl as those classes

With 4 credit classes, I wouldn't recommend taking more then 12 credits of nursing classes. The most I've taking so far is 12 credits of nursing classes and 4 credits of a nursing pre-req I was finishing, and it was brutal.

My good frriends I appreciate all your help the classes I rated up top how would you rate that put of 10

Yeah, my program suggests an outline that they hand out while taking pre-reqs, and all of them are around 18 Credit Hours. I think if you focus and make school your life for a bit, it'll be no problem! I want to meet the anticipated graduation date, so I'm resigning from my job, going to put my all into these 18 Credit Hours each semester, by just breathing and living school for a bit. :)
