you will be surprised....

Of how many people get A's in prereqs but dont do that good in the nursing program and the B students are the ones that do better in the program. Dont work youself if you cant get that A.

I'm usually not a hater on these boards... but the english usage and grammar here is so horrendous in the post that I have no idea what the message is here....

Wow... simply wow. I agree with @chelsea13.

There are also a lot of people who get A's in pre reqs and A's in Nursing School.

English and grammar is bad, but I still understand the message............... and I've also heard this before. But I think it depends on the person. It can go both ways-- Some B (pre-req) students do better in nursing school than A (pre-req) students and vice versa.

I was an A prereq student who got a B first semester of nursing school. Pulled it together and got an A the second semester. Yes, nursing school is harder, but As are possible. And sorry, but B students are not better in the program. That actually makes no sense at all. B students can be great nurses, but the program is about the grade.

I feel what this post is saying. I have heard this before. The A student sometimes does not turn out to be a good nurse and vice versa. I see nurses that are great academically but they are not good nurses. To me their hearts are not in this profession for whatever reason.

That's because many (I said many , not all, so please, straight A students, don't get your panties in a wad) straight A students are straight A students because they are good at memorization, which isn't that much help when it comes to understanding concepts. Our orientation was yesterday and the Dean of Health Sciences stressed that very point. He said, "It's OK to get a C in nursing school! It will happen!"

Well that's comforting to hear!

"What do you call a person that got Cs in nursing school? Nurse".

"What do you call a person that got Cs in nursing school? Nurse".

Haha. Lol

This is what i have seen! So i dont care about who disagree with my post. And who cares about the grammar im not in nursing school yet and most nurses tell me that people make grammar mistakes in hospital all the time....and if you cant understand the post move to the next one!

"What do you call a person that got Cs in nursing school? Nurse".

On the other hand, what do you call a person that got As in nursing school?

On the other hand, what do you call a person that got As in nursing school?

A nurse with better chances of getting into a CRNA or NP program? Or am I completely wrong...
