WhY DO LPN's have to wAit longer theN rN's

can someone please tell me why lpn's have to wait longer for their nclex results then rn's do....too me it's not fair....:heartbeat

Hi Michelle,

No that wouldn't be fair and if it makes you feel any better my experience was that it took me the same amount of time to get unofficial results from the BON but way longer to get my actual RN license number.

there is no difference in the wait for lpn or rn nclex results... it depends on what state you take your test in .. some states have quick results and some don't... and you just pay the 7 bucks to peasonvue and see if you passed.... if your state has quick results...

I got mine in the same time frame as RN's.

We wait the same amount of time as the RNs in my state. If you don't have Quick Results (I believe that California and maybe Texas do not), then, most people wait a month.

In NY, it was the opposite in regard to SCHEDULING to sit for NCLEX...the LPNs were able to get a quicker date to sit than the RNs. Go figure...
