Ive never heard of ATI but I've taken Kaplan and Hurst, and I've had mixed reviews on both. I think that you should save your money and do Suzannes Plan. Its free and there has been alto fo success with it. Or you can buy books. I think that taking a review course is a waste of money.

I am thinking about taking the Hurst review, but $300 for online review seems little expensive to me.What did you like about Suzannes Plan?

I took the Kaplan review course and paid all that money and it didn't help me. I did the complete course and the online course both and although it did help me understand the question style a little bit better I don't know that it was worth the $500 I paid for it and I still didn't pass. It does help you get some experience with practice questions, but their strategy for answering questions didn't always work for all the questions. It did help me a little but I would say go with Suzanne's plan too. I haven't tried it yet but I have read nothing but good things about it and its free and if that doesn't work then spend money on a review course. Best of luck!!
Ya kaplan giving us a discount cause there competing with ATI.... do your college use ATI testing????

KAPLAN DIDN'T HELP ME YOU CAN NOT ANSWER EVERY QUESTION WITH AN ASSESSMENT OR IMPLEMENTATION ANSWER. I AM LOOKING INTO SUZANNE'S BUT THAT SAUNDERS BOOK IS PRETTY BIG AND SCARY! THIS WILL BE MY THIRD ATTEMPT. I HAVE BEEN A LPN FOR 19 YRS AND RECIEVED MY ASS. IN RN SCHOOL DEC.2006. AM REALLY SCARED. KNOW I'VE FORGOT LOTS.

Take the time and actually read the first tip. You are not to read the book, there is no mention of doing that in the thread.
We also ask that you do not use all CAPITALS when posting, it means that you are shouting as well as make it easier to read.

You try Kaplan, but I highly recommend Saunders Comprehensive CD review. It's cheaper than Kaplan! You can select the mode you want: assessment, exam, study or quiz mode. I practiced with the exam mode because it has 100 questions per content area. Then I used Lippincotts for some comprehensive questions. We all have different way of studying, I just hope this will help you as it helped me. Always remember: Do your best and GOD will do the rest. GOOD LUCK!!!
