  1. Thanks for sharing your stories. I just had my med error yesterday. I gave a med that was discontinued and patient was allergic to it. Notified the charge RN and the MD. NO harm done with the patient, THANK GOD, but I really felt bad making the error! I just hope I'll get over with it pretty soon.
  2. EYEHEARTNURSING: Just hang in there! Keep on praying ok. Remember GOD has plans for us, whatever it is we have to embrace it. GOOD LUCK and Keep me posted!
  3. Hey Gwafuh_RN, You're Filipino right? I just figured out because of your name. Anyways, I recently passed the NCLEX last month and having a hard time finding a job. I went to the Nurse week career fair at Pasadena last Feb. 26 and most of their hospitals are far from my place: Glendale Memorial, UCLA, USC and a lot of more. Some of them have new grad programs but they will start accepting applications on May and June. Well, GOOD LUCK to us on our JOB HUNTING!
  4. Hi paul! I took mine on the 16th too and found d result 3 days after. Just keep on checkin ok! Good Luck!
  5. CONGRATS!!!!! :up::yeah:
  6. You try Kaplan, but I highly recommend Saunders Comprehensive CD review. It's cheaper than Kaplan! You can select the mode you want: assessment, exam, study or quiz mode. I practiced with the exam mode because it has 100 questions per content area. Then I used Lippincotts for some comprehensive questions. We all have different way of studying, I just hope this will help you as it helped me. Always remember: Do your best and GOD will do the rest. GOOD LUCK!!!
  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!:up: IT'S PARTY TIME!!!
  8. I passed at 165! Hope that makes you feel better! I was in the same boat..cried every night. Just hang in there! GOOD LUCK!!!
  9. You will, just hang in there! Keep on praying, dear! GOOD LUCK TO YOU and GOD BLESS!!!:redbeathe
  10. YEHEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! :yeah::yeah:After 3 days of sleepless nights, devastation and frustration, the waiting is finally over! I'm officially an RN here in California! GOD is really AWESOME! Thank you all! Good luck to all the future NCLEX takers and to those who are still waiting for the results! Thanks for all the support!
  11. I took mine in Anaheim, where did you take yours? One of my friends took the exam that time, I saw him but he doesn't have a clue that I was there. His test shut off at 75 and made me even more anxious! We'll wait and hoping it's a good news for us! GOD BLESS!!!
  12. Thank you Alex and Silver for the support! I'll keep you guys posted with my results whether it's good or bad. Take care!
  13. Yes, it was really hard! I got a lot of prioritization, few SATA, 3-4 meds, no math, about 2 ordered response. I'm so scared to death and feeling down right now. Wishing you GOOD LUCK too! I hope we pass! Thanks for your reply. Keep posting, it makes me feel good that I'm also getting support from other people that I don't even know. GOD BLESS to you!
  14. Hi All! I took my NCLEX last 2/16/09. As I was taking the test and didn't stopped at 75, I was so devastated. Most of my friends stopped at 75 and they all passed, then mine shut off at 165 , i think I failed. I've called my husband after but he doesn't even know that i took the test not until that day. He heard me crying and the sky's crying for me too, I guess because it was raining at that time. My husband asked me to stay in the parking lot for awhile till I feel better. Waiting for the results is the hardest part. I had sleepless night and always cries at night. I'm really hoping and praying that everything will turn out right. Whatever the result is, I think it is GOD's plan for me. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I'll just leave it all to GOD. Please pray for me and I'll pray for all of you as well. CONGRATS to all the NCLEX PASSERS! hoping, MJCA76
