So, I ordered this bag from ebay and I love love love it. Only 20 bucks and it fits so much stuff in a nice organized fashion. The bag is better than I had even expected considering it was ordered from ebay. Also, since it was only 20 bucks (including shipping), I won't be too bummed if something happens to it. It has tons of pockets for organizing all of my supplies! I got it in the teal color! I am way too obssessed with bags. ugh. lol Just thought I'd share in case someone is in need of a clinical bag!

That's a cool bag! I haven't started clinicals yet but if I have to carry a lot I'll be looking into getting one of these bags!

I hope our uniforms have lots of pockets! They may not have 100000 pockets but I bet I could make do with 5000.

Wow! That bag can fit a lot of stuff! What do you bring to your clincals? Do you plan on carrying that bag with you all day, into patient's rooms, etc?
I never had the need for a clinical bag while I was in school. The hospital supplied things like dressing supplies, alcohol swabs, gloves, and pretty much anything you need. My stethoscope goes around my neck and my scissors, pen and report paper go in my pocket. I also stuff some alcohol swabs, saline flushes and a few other random supplies in my pockets. Not enough stuff to buy a bag for.
I'm glad you found a cheap bag that you love! I hope you find use for it and find enough stuff to fill it with. :-)
You're welcome! I'm so happy with it that I had to share in case someone else was looking for something similar. I think you will really like it when you see it in person. I also love that it has a pocket on the side that is a perfect size for random papers or a couple of folders. I hope you like it as much as I like mine! I can't wait to use it. See...i told you that bags excite me way too much.

I bring as little as possible to the clinical sites as there isn't much room to store anything more than a lunch bag. You'll only need a stethoscope, scissors, penlight, pens (lots of pens) and maybe a roll of tape and scratch paper. Maybe a bag like this would be useful for your skills lab so that you have everything available for demonstrating a skill. Otherwise, I wouldn't take this to a clinical site unless you are told you will need to bring a large duffel bag, really : )

It doesn't look as big in person, it is a rather small duffle, but you are right, it does hold alot. Nope, no way would I carry this around all day at clinicals! It it just to take to and from the site. They actually sell small medical duffels in the nursing section at our college bookstore for this purpose. I just decided to buy my own as it was cheaper. The bag would carry my steth and other small supplies (scissors, pen lights, hemostats,) clipboard, an extra pair of scrubs, a drugbook or care plan book, some toiletries, lunch and a water bottle. :) But, if I do find I didn't really need it, it will be my new gym bag. lol
I wouldn't describe this as a large duffel bag...It is actually quite small. It is in fact about the same size as the one that the bookstore sells to the nursing students. So, I think I'm good. :) In the end, if I find I dont need it, I'll find another use for it.

I'm a bag girl too.
And I'm with you, if it turns out to be overkill for clinicals, there are a plethora of things it could be used for.
