Congrats and welcome, LT!

I got back from COT last month and have been wanting to post an updated thread as many things seemed quite different from even our most recent summer attendees' experiences. Hopefully I can get to that soon but in the meantime please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

LT Mab

Congrats!

My wife is an instructor at the base. If you need any info about the area just let me know. I'll try to get it to you before your report date.

Specializes in Neuro, Surgical, Trauma and ICU..
:yeah::yeah::yeah:Congratulations!!!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah::up::up:

congrats to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey thanks everyone for the posts. I guess I'm gonna have to get use to military life again. Bought some ABDU's and some corcoran boots. Thinking about ordering some name tags and I guess I'll pick up the rest when I get to COT.:wink2:

There is a company near the base (Maxwell) that sells the uniforms real cheap....cheaper than you can get from the military. My wife buys her uniforms there and she saves a ton of money. The uniforms do have some imperfections but are minor and are easily fixed (creases in the wrong place, button missing, etc).

Specializes in OR Internship starting in Jan!!.

Congrats on your commission and thank you for your service! I hope you'll post about your experience.
