OK so I got 5,444 steps in yesterday. As for recipe that is fun and easy try this one. I take carrots and a head of cauliflower. Brush a the whole head with olive oil then the carrots. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and any other spices you like sit the head of cauliflower on top of the carrots and wrap the whole thing in foil. Put in a hot oven or BBQ with a closed lid for 20 -25 minutes. This is when you cook you steaks. Once everything is done cut the cauliflower in wedges and eat.

So I got about 4400 steps today! Blood sugar stayed below 200. But I am really tired this afternoon/evening - probably be off to bed early today

I've been steaming lots of veggies with the meals.

Blood sugars haven't "crashed" lately, which is a plus for me.

Really frustrated last night. I had agreed to work over two hours and it turned into 4 as I waited for my relief to show-up. I did two full admission in the time. Census is down and there were only 6 patients on the unit two of those needed their daily medical charting do. Mind I had discharged 6 patients and admitted two. My relief asked why she had to do the daily charting for 2 patients!
