Ado sorry to hear about your sister, it's hard when the decline is quick like that, and even harder that your MIL is now declining

NJ22 I was never much into genealogy but my dad's cousin did a lot of research, going back over a century

Stars I remember hearing something about treasure on Oak Island

Dianah good luck on the taxes

Work was pretty good yesterday, busier than Mon but not bad despite a new case.  After work did the grocery shopping and exercised.  Was kind of down much of the day but felt better by the end

Cat is eating a little more, though still skipping the treats with her thyroid medication.  It will probably resolve as her thyroid levels rise and she gets hungrier.  If no improvement in a couple days I'll let the vet know

Today hopefully will be OK at work, although I will have to work on the side project.  No meetings at least

Going to be a little warmer today, in the low 40s

Good morning.

Joe, hope today goes equally well for you.

The crazy neighbor at best friends was arrested and put in jail for "disorderly conduct" and "resisting arrest without violent".   Both misdemeanors with low bails.  While he was gone they fixed his toilets which fixed a problem for my friend.  He hadn't been able to use his bathroom (thankfully he as two full bathrooms there).   He was released on bond this morning.

I came home and what seems to be a pattern is my temp rises in the evening.  It was only 100.5 so I went to bed but woke up and burning up and decided to go to the freestanding ER/Urgent Care this this has been a week it's being going on, and it turns out it's RSV bronchitis .  Usually happens in children but he said the steroids have immunocompromised me.  He let me off work the rest of the week and sent me home with a zofran prescription.  The worst right now is a sinus headache.  Bleh........TMI

I had a chest x-ray and I don't think I've ever had a chest x-ray.

Otherwise, I'm just going to rest, fluids, etc.   I may start working on CEUs so when I renew I'm good.

j22~ Some of our Finnish relatives live in Pieksamaki. Not that it makes a lot of difference; I just like saying that word. ? So, prolly we aren't related. Oh well!

Sunny, 46 degrees and though the winds are stilled, it is still too chilly for me. I need to do some laundry (and/or buy a bib!) and I may go down to the shed to see how much damage the rain has done to the inside where the gash is in the roof. I bet the tub underneath that gash has overflowed and then some. I remind BiL of it and he says that he has or will get some of that tape or spray gunk that seals rips and tears....but so far, nothing has been done. I may end up doing it myself. It may be too late to save some of my stuff; I just would like to know how much and what I'll need to pitch out. That possibility bums me out.

It is time for my breakfast/lunch, and I have to treat some of my jerseys and blouses because of the grease spots. Practically everything I could or need to do bores me to the point of inaction. I guess that is called DEPRESSION. It is depressing not to have a life of my own even now without the presence of you-know-who. I gotta find something to attend at the Senior Activity Center so I can meet some people that I might have some more in common with than just acquaintances, but I'm not entirely sure about that because of this place being so Southern.

Basically, I just feel adrift. If I see a soccer ball I will call it Wilson....

Awwww, Tweety -- there's always a reason when things are not quite right.  Good you got checked out, and I hope the Zofran works quickly.

I just spent an hour+ down in the shed. Dipped out some of the water collected in the Rubbermaid box stuck under the rip in the roof, but it is on the top shelf of a metal "bookcase", and I'd have to stand up on a small ladder to get it all out.

So many of the boxes stacked up in the shed are damp. I did find a bunch of my stuff that I have to go through and decide what to keep and clean up, and what to ditch. But I will need a bunch of sturdy boxes to put inside large trash bags, to contain all the loose stuff, so I can put it all out in the trash trailer that BiL will eventually take to the dump. I wish it was earlier in the day and I could do that now, but I have just only brought a few things up to the house, and since it is now after 5 PM, I am calling it quits for today. It will take MANY weeks to complete, and I still have yet to locate some of the things I was really hoping to uncover. I mean it was a LOT of the house up in Asheville that was moved down here, and it has all been out there for 9 years or so. I still wonder about the stuff I packed specifically to be left in this house before they unpacked the rest of it into the shed. They obviously did not read the words I wrote in black "magic-marker" (Am I old or WHAT ? ! ) and I know it all has to be in the very back, bottom corner of the shed.I expect that some of the bottles and tubes have been frozen and burst.

Tinker thinks I smell very interesting! So I will wash my hands and put my sweatshirt in with some of the laundry I still have to do. I wonder if the cassette tapes I found will still play? Guess I'll see, eventually. Anyway I could babble on, but it would just make me want to go back to the shed and do more hunting. It is all making me feel rather nostalgic!

Wow, No Stars, going through those put-aside boxes -- after so long!  <sigh>  Nostalgic, at the very least.   I have stuff here in the house that needs to be gone through as well -- and likely tossed!  From what I read, 15 min a day is a good start.  I'll think about it tomorrow (call me Scarlett)!

I made the chicken tomatillo soup.  Now it needs to cool off a bit, and then we need to separate it into containers and find room in the freezer for them.  I didn't realize I already had three containers of frozen soup in the freezer!  Guess we'll have meals for over a week, now!  Slight miscalculation on my part, but we'll weather it.

Once again, it is in the 90's out.  A/C is on here.  Dh is enjoying his oatmeal-raisin cookies.

Not much else going on this afternoon.  I will probably go exercise once I'm done here on the puter.  I don't see much change in myself, but I know the exercise is good to do, so I will do it.

Have a good evening!

Glad you got checked out, Tweety, and hope you feel better.

I went through boxes of photos today but didn't find much in the way of pictures of my sister. I will go through my mother's photo albums tomorrow. I couldn't get to them today because Twin B was sleeping and I would have had to climb over him.

I always had good intentions to organize photo albums and scrapbooks but never got it done. Was fun/nostalgic to see these. We were so young!

Tweety, that is good you sought care. That's interesting that you haven't had a chest x-ray at this point in your life. Must be your healthy lifestyle. I've had a few related to bronchitis with wheezing.

Joe, I hope kitty starts eating more normally. How old is s/he?

90 is so hot in March!

I've had aspirations of organized photos too. But I can't even straighten them out on my computer. I did find one a few years ago of my oldest sister with our dad. I got a copy and framed it for her for a Christmas gift. And every year on her birthday, I post a goofy picture of my other sister when we about 5 and 7 years old.

We are undergoing an atmospheric river/pineapple express. There is minor flooding. We went to the demo garden this morning and got soaked. Then went to landscape design class. youngest ds made spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner.

I am inspired to sort and dispose of stuff tomorrow.
